Welcome to the Western States Operating Engineers Institute of Training (WSOEIT) Online Training Institute.

This new service from WSOEIT directs members to an innovative Internet-based resource that allows "anywhere, anytime" access to quality and cost-effective training programs. Click the Catalog button on the left for a complete list of online courses.

The Requirements page will inform you of hardware and software requirements to take our courses, such as Internet connection speed, browser versions and settings, and plug-ins.

Our online training institute was established exclusively to serve the members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 370 and management personnel of their employer group at no cost. Members of other IUOE locals may participate with written approval from their local Training Director or Business Manager via facsimile to (509)235-9395. Other organizations may participate as well with approval from WSOEIT's Training Director. Prices listed in the catalog section pertain to nonmembers of IUOE Local 370. A printed catalog of our courses and prices is available upon request.

Getting Started

Step 1
Register as a new student. It is important that you fill in all the necessary information including name, company/title (enter Operating Engineers and the Local number if you are a member) address, phone number and e-mail address.

Please write down your user name and password for future reference.

Step 2
Browse through the Catalog and write down what courses you are interested taking.

Step 3
Click the Contact Us button. Fill out the form as directed. In the comments area give us your student password and the title(s) of the courses you want to sign up for*. Send the information to us by clicking the "send" button.

• For those authorized to participate from other IUOE Locals and organizations, you may pay for courses you have chosen by leaving your credit card information here as well. Include the type of card, card number, expiration date and the name as it appears on the card.

Step 4
Allow up to 48 hours then log on using your user name and password. A list of the course(s) you are signed up to take will appear. Choose which course you want to take first and proceed following the directions. You will not need any special "password" to take the courses after you have been approved for training.
